The annual U.S. 60 Yard Sale in Carter County will again be held during the first weekend of August.

The yard sale event has certainly been more popular with bargain-seeking tourists since adopting a two-day format a couple of years ago. "This year it will be Aug. 6 and 7."

The yard sale will begin at 8 a.m. and continue to 5 p.m. each day. Participants and vendors alike are encouraged to observe basic safety rules and use caution while parking and crossing the busy highway.
