Julie Foehr's Notes -- May 7

Rock -n- Roll Hall of SHAME on American Lameness!

OK - first of all - who is running the marketing campaigns this year? No "Soul Patrol" No "McPheever" No "304" - or whatever that Ruben Studdard Area Code gimmick was... they were brilliant - making people want to belong and jump on the bandwagon. Last night the only poster I saw said, "David Cook - We're For You" huh? My 6th grade student council poster was more catchy than that!

David Cook - I think Dadchuletta might have slipped him a mickey - he was lame. The tempo for "Hungry Like the Wolf" was too fast to be sexy, and if the song isn't sexy, then it's weird. Baba O'Reilly... a chopped up mess... the Cooker was malfunctioning (or maybe just on the fritz) last night!

Syesha - she is as pretty as Halle Berry! Not the greatest dancer though... kinda stiff - she's no Beyonce... but DANG RANDY - SHUT UP! Paula and Simon liking her after Randy destroyed her - brought her - and ME - to tears!

Jason Castro - AHHHHHHHH - this darling boy makes me laugh - and what, my friends, is more important than that? Also - he's got ATTITUDE! He's no praise-starved Lil'David! Listen, Castro is never off key, never "pitchy" or anything - he just has a soft, nice, mellow voice - like James Taylor or Jack Johnson... do we NEED our Pop Stars to be able to hit amazing power notes that require rising up jazz hands at the end of every song? I think not. His only problem (on the TELEVISION SHOW American Idol) is that he picks songs he personlly LIKES, rather than strategically picking songs to help him WIN.
Lil'David - oh Lil' David, you got so much love, Lil'David - and I want you to be my acrobat... or singing monkey - whatEVA - I'm so OVA him! I am sick of him waiting "like a school girl waits to see if the Fonz will look her way today" for the Judges comments. Do you think David Lee Roth or Sting would ever act like that to Randy Jackson's praise? No - because they are cool. Lil'David - not cool - they try to make him look cool showing him with his IPOD, but you know he secretly loves to listen to his Dad's Victrola at home and push lawn mowing machine for Grampa. OK - enough, I WOULD admit that I would go see him if he were starring in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!"

So - Sadly, I think Jason will go home tonight - but it's ok - because I really need a good laugh, and can you imagine how HILARIOUS his Farewell Clip Package will be? "I was thinkin' Bob MARLEY!"

---

April 24

So I was right - the trend of going home after a good performance continued!  A couple weeks in the bottom 3 plus a good performance night = going home.

Carly wass sent home - but actually seemed relieved!  She'll be OK!

Next Week - Neil Diamond week!  Please let the group song be "America" and let Seacrest take the speaking part,  "My country tis of thee" That would be AWESOME!  I hope they all pick songs we know... my suggestions...

Brooke - Hello, My Friend, Hello - or Song Sung Blue

Syesha - You Don't Bring Me Flowers

Jason - Forever in Blue Jeans or Red Red Wine

David Cook - Sweet Caroline/Cherry/I'm a Believer Medley- Cook it & mash it up dude! (but he'll probably just rip off Urge Overkill's version of "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon")

Lil'David- wouldn't it be sad (but kinda funny) if he did "Love on the Rocks" SHAKE IT UP LIL' DAVID! But if he stays on the "inspirational" track he'll do "Morning Has Broken"

I think it will be a fun night IF they pick songs we know!  Agree?

---

April 23

Andrew Lloyd Webber week!

OK - first of all - what was Paul Stanley from KISS doing in the
audience? Especially on THIS night?  He probably heard something about CATS and thought they meant it was "Cool Cats" night and wanted to be there!

Ah, but speaking of cool cats, YES - my girl Syesha worked it out!  I
have been waiting to see the girl we saw in auditions and she was BACK (like
the McRib sometimes is) last night! BRAVO SYESHA, BRAVO!

Jason Castro - I'm going to start calling him "Jason Bobarino" Seriously...
go to youtube to re-watch his clip before he sings when he says "It's
kind of a popular song" and it's SOOO John Travolta, the early years!  I love his personality. The singing... not his night.

Brooke - She's no Madonna... not enough desperation and grit to pull off
the song.  She's always uncomfortable on stage, and maybe it's time for her
to go. I do think she's an "artist" - just not a "performer"

Lil' David - stole the "COOKER" this week and cooked up a new version of
"Think of Me" and pulled it off!  I love his voice.  What was he
wearing?  I don't even know what to say about that... it's as if his   clothes were stolen, and so he ran from dressing room to dressing room borrowing this and that from different people and came up with the look of last night. hmmm

Carly - GREAT outfit for the song Rock on!  But... I have a funny
feeling she may go home - sometimes people go after a good night.  Plus - the band overpowered her - maybe not live - but whoever is mixing the sound for TV should be fired!  NOTE - Score one for the JESUS COUNT!  I told you!

David Cook - since Archuleta stole the "cooker" he had to just sing his
song as is. He does have a nice voice.  I am so scared that with Jason and
Lil' David stealing the girls hearts, he is up'ping his game - and by that I
mean... he's trying to pull a CONSTANTINE with those smoldering looks...
eewwww!

I hope Syesha is safe, but there is a trend on Idol of going home after
a good night, so both she and Carly are vulnerable there.  Jason may be in
trouble, but Brooke should be put out of her misery tonight. We'll see!

April 16

Mariah Carey week on Idol... threw me for a loop!  Speaking of "loop" - how about that Paula Abdul!  Low bangs and a messy poof in the back = a glazed over loopy Paula is in store for tonight!  WHA HOO!  And yes - Paula brought some crazy while Simon rolled his eyes.  I loved when she called Christy's style perfect for "Country-WESTERN music"  That's what my Dad called the genre in the 70's!

Get this - I liked, no, I LOVED Mariah Carey! Did you all know she writes her own songs?  I didn't, and I am now quite impressed with her.  She seemed so nice and normal last night!

New thought... on song choice.  It's smart for the contestants to pick track 8 off the CD that no one has heard (especially when it's Mariah Carey week) but it makes for a less appealing and less enjoyable American Idol - the TV show. I want to hear the hits! Agree?

Everyone is looking better. Now that those expensive Ascots of Michael Johns don't have to go into the budget, there's more money for fabric for Carly.

I'm going to try out a theory this week. Here it is -  you can tell who is going home by who has the most appropriate song title for leaving.  This means... Carly with "I Can't Live" or Syesha with "Vanishing" - we'll see how it works out!

Idol Gives Boot - or - Curse of the Ascot

Memories and unused clips from Idol Gives Back ran on on Thursday night's edition of American Idol... in which we saw once again... Fergie's one handed front walkover!  WHOOO - I love that thing!  The clip to "I'm a Believer" I could have done without because I'm all, "Who are those people?" besides lipsyncer extrodinaire Dr. Phil of course!

Ok - so this year's Paula Check isn't as fun as usual... come on Paula - bring the crazy! This year I'm thinking of starting an alternative, called "Jesus Count Jesus Count, oooh ahh" - almost every episode of Idol has a "Jesus" Shout Out... or 2 or 3 even!  Pay attention and see if you start to notice it too!

I've noticed also that Simon seems to be growing weary of being frienemies with Seacrest.

So Syesha, Calry and Michael Johns were in the bottom 3.  My notes from Tuesday's show said Ascot boy might be in there for a shocker - but not even I predicted the shocker would be that he went HOME!!!  Sup' wit that?  Some people are saying "He got Daughtry'd" but more accurately for true Idol fans... we know he got "Constantine'd"  When David Cook goes at week 3 or 4 -that will be "Daughtry'd" But what can I say, i didn't vote... did you?

Here's the problem Michael John's ran into (IMO) He didn't follow the rules of the Boy Band Philospophy.  Don't act your real age, don't say you're married, and don't wear an Ascot with a organ grinder monkey vest.  I was in love with him at first - crushin hard - but then he seemed too old and tired and I pictured him going home to his wife for the daily grind of laundry and stuff, and I forgot to see him as a Rock Star.  However - he did have the  BEST SING OUT EVER!  That was HOT Dawg! (hey I just noticed, saying Hot Dawg sounds like HOTDOG!)

April 10

When it comes to "telethons" - Idol Gives Back is the cream of the crop!  Great causes, beautiful celebs, and heartfelt pleas.  They raise a ton of money and help so many people - Good Job Idol!

When I think about Idol Gives Back 2008, I think FERGIE!  I have such a new respect for the girl I knew as Stacy Fergeson from the 80's Saturday morning TV show "Kids Incoporated!"  For me - she was the breakout performance of the night.  Any woman joining Ann and Nancy Wilson of HEART on stage, usually would pale in comparison, but Fergie KILLED IT!
I liked the opening number with the "So You Think You Can Dance" kids.  Then... I see Mike Delfino jammin' out on the guitar!  With SUSAN singing the theme of Desperate Housewives everywhere, "Before He Cheats!"  Man, those neighborhood block parties on Wisteria Lane must be cool!

Annie Lennox, Gloria Estefan, and Sheila E show the young girls how it's done - although I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by Miley Cyrus. Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman were funny.  Seacrest was manic - and did anyone buy that the Season 7 contestants were actually answering calls?  Michael Johns didn't even have a pencil to write with!!

My friend Michael O got to play the piano for the contestants as they sung "Seasons of Love" - a favorite song of mine - so much so that I noticed David Archuleta sang the words wrong!! I just hope his DAD isn't a big enough fan of the musical RENT to have noticed!

So there I am, excited to see the closing act - Mariah Carey with RANDY JACKSON on Bass!  And then... my DVR says "Recording ended" and I scream "Noooooooooo"... but, I did need to get back to Fergifying myself, so I just practiced my one handed front walkovers the rest of the night!

Inspirational Idol Notes...

Paula Check Paula Check oohh ah...  Valley of the Dolls Hairdo = watch for drunk dancing through out the night!

This week the contestants had to sing songs to inspire, with it being "Idol Gives Back" week and all...  so... (get ready, when all of my comments are on wardrobe inspiration... that doesn't say much for the singing!)

Michael Johns inspired men who wear short sleeved dress shirts to add an Ascot for a fancier look! (Just in case you thought a short sleeved dress shirt could not GET any fancier!)

Syesha inspired us to remember how much we liked... Fantasia!

Jason Castro inspired me to say "I gotta have more Ykelele" (vs. more cowbell!)

Christy Lee Cook inspired me to not wear the same outfit twice because... people notice that stuff!

David Cook, in his "trying to move up to Head Waiter at Long John Silvers" jacket, inspired me to write on my hand "give...me a break"

Carly inspired me to think back fondly on the days I wore my swimsuit so much that all I needed to do to go somewhere public was pull a pair of jeans over it!  Her Hair and Makeup was MUCH better though, this is the look she should maintain!  Oh, and her singing... angry.

Lil' David... where is your MOM baby?  And WHO let their 12 year old daughter bring in a sign that said "Lick Those Lips" for you?  That inspired me to be creeped out!  But you, David, are glorious!

Brooke White... inspired me to wish she had picked "Before He Cheats" to sing - just to remind people that sometimes a song can inspire you and give you good ideas in a BAD way!  That would have been GREAT!  sigh...

So - Bottom 3 - Carly, Brooke, and Syesha (possibly Michael Johns to shock people) but Syesha will be going home I predict!  We'll have to wait until Thursday night to know because tonight is... Idol Gives Back!

Thursday, April 3, 2008

And then there were 8...

Ramielle went home, as predicted.  But that's ok because I really didn't have a part for her on the Gilligan's Idol cast!  Here it is!

Therston Howell the Third & Lovey - Michael Johns and Christy Lee Cook (although I wish Danny Noreiga was still here to be Mr. Howell!)

Ginger - the movie star beautiful, Syesha!

Mary Ann - the good girl, Brooke White

Skipper & Gilligan - hearty David Cook and his lil' buddy, goofy Jason Castro

The Professor - David A. - he's got the cordoroy jacket already!

PS - When I grow up - please let me be like Dolly Parton!  SHE is MY Idol!

---

Tuesday, April 1st - Dolly Parton Night!

LOVE me some DOLLY!  What a songwriter and what a heart!

Not loving the Judges last night...

Paula - bangs over one eye = only 1/2 her usual amount of wine pre-show

Randy - trying to make the catch phrase "False" happen... short for Falsetto

Simon - grouchy!  But yes - finally he says what I've been saying all along -Carly needs help with her look!
So here's the deal - I think Rameille is going home - with Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha soon to follow... which leaves us with a nice cast for a remake of Scooby Doo!  Here's how I would cast it...

Freddy - Michael Johns - he's already got the ascot!

Scooby Doo - David Cook - lovable and humble

Scrappy Doo - David Archeletta - lil' cute thing

Velma - Carly... she's Blah, but needed

Daphne - Brooke White - innocent and skinny

Shaggy - Jason Castro - for obvious reasons (now give him a Scooby Snack!)

Tomorrow we'll cast a Gilligan's Island remake!

March 13, 2008

Fans of the Magic Morning Show knew before the rest of the world... David Archuletta's Dad is a crazy Stage Dad...  Poor lil' David!  Look for the rest of the world to start finding out today - what you all knew yesterday!

Paula Check Paula Check - ooh ah... Valley of the Dolls Hairdo = a sleepy Paula for the evening. How 'bout that Mesh-Glittertastic shirt on Simon?

Sanjayah, Danny and Jim Carrey were in da house for the Beatles medley - with the amazing choreography - step tap step tap move! The McFever was back and they also took phone calls!  But all we want is to know - WHO IS GOING HOME? Right?

So - as I predicted ;) Syesha, Kristy and David were in the Bottom 3, with Syesha sitting down first.  Then - YES - David went home!  But don't worry - he left saying that we "would see him again - at the top" - leaving the question... top of what?
Next week MORE FROM THE LENNON/McCARTNEY SONGBOOK! WHOOOO!!!

March 12, 2008

Here's the deal...

Paula was fine and SEACREST was out of his mind, but we had a clue at
the start of the show... high hair!

Beatles night was great.  Chickezie killed it on stage, Carly made her
own shirt (I'm guessing - in Home Ec or something) and David Cook stole
the Incubus version of Eleanor Rigby as if it were his own.  Hernadez let us all know he works at the Pizza parlor, Michael Johns gets a new nickname from me "Oily Bo Hunk" and Kristy Lee Cook did a Dueling Banjo's version of 8 days a week.  Sad "insider" news, David A has a crazy stage Dad - which probably accounted for the poor things nerves.

Bottom 3 will be:

Syesha (but she'll sit down first)
Kristy Lee Cook
David Hernandez... and he'll go home!

March 6, 2008

This week was 80's week for the remaining 16 American Idol hopefuls.

Paula Check Paula Check oooh ahhh... we knew there would be trouble on Tuesday night when the bangs were hangin' low... and, yes - Paula was tounge tied all night... however, on Wednesday she threw us for a loop with a completely, never seen before new 'do! The completely pulled back and up style left me not knowing WHAT to expect!  Turns out - this 'do represents a sober kooky Paula.

On my "Not Safe/Going Home" list this week... (in order of my sureness)

Luke Menard
Kady Malloy
David Hernadez
Kristy Lee Cook

Chikezie
Asia'h
Danny Syesha

Results Tonight!!!

Feb. 29, 2008

This week's elimination show had some shocking eliminations!  Paula's hair was slightly shocking - it was a side pony tail mess, and I thought this might be Paula's wackiest night yet - but it proved to be just a poor imitation of "the Ramielle"... and she stayed pretty cool.

The night began with the 70's Medley - I loved the songs Byrd picked for them to sing, even though they did not sing very well.  And Puh-leeze - What up with David Cook and his Tuxedo T-Shirt?  Again, dude, you're TOO OLD to be like that!

Jason Yeager was the first to go - as I predicted - it's just that he's such an "8"... which in life is great - he has more talent and good looks than most, but on Idol - you gotta stand out.

With Amanda and Alex-anDREA I thought Amanda would be going - but don't count out the "Vote For The Worst" people - they picked Amanda to vote for this week - and it kept her safe.  Alex-anDREA went.

Then Kady and Alaina came down.  Kady was totally ready to go - and BAM - it was Alaina!!!  She LOST it... she's young, poor thing!  I just hope this doesn't start a trend - of people saying "I can't sing" - but the girls came down and stood by her side so she could do it!  I cried.  Seriously!

Then Luke and Doo Rag Robbie came down.  Luke is sliding on through, slow and steady - could he win the race??  Chubby Bret Michaels (Robbie) went home.  Did y'all know he wears a wig?
Anyhoo - Ryan let us know that Idol Gives Back will have BRAD PITT (whoo) as part of the show on April 9th - and that the kids will be singing BEATLES songs on March 11th.  Could Michael Jackson songs be far behind?  Fingers crossed!

Feb. 28, 2008

Last night was Ladies Night in the 70's!  Paula check - her hair is the same as last night - a clue that both shows were taped on the same day! She's lucid.

The night kicks off with Carly Smithson - she performs Crazy On You - by Heart - and I get the feeling she's never been crazy on a guy, so she doesn't know what she's singing about... her voice is great, but... I'm not convinced she's our next American Idol - safe

Syesha - changes up Me and Mrs. Jones to Me and Mr. Jones - which would be a great song if she were singing about her husband, I am sad to learn she is singing about the man she's having an affair with - I really got into it when I was in the dark about the story behind these words... now it seems not so sweet to me... but she's still - safe

Brooke - YEA Brooke - great song for her voice - You're so vain - loved it! safe!

Ramielle - takes on Thelma Houston's "Don't Leave Me This Way" - underwhelming - but dang is she little and cute - she's fun sized!  Safe

Kristy Lee Cook - alright girl - you connect to this song!  Safe

Amanda Overmeyer - with the Fanny Pack and electric 'do.  Horrible.  She might do a good "Bonnie Tyler" is she stays.  This girl is 23 and doesn't look a day under 35.  I think she gets her inspiration from the MISFITS (the bad girl band from the 80's cartoon Jen & the Holograms) but - ohmygawd - she can DANCE!  Not SAfe... at all

Alaina - Still a girl trying to be a grown up - she should just be an innocent 17 year old - people would LOVE that!  I like that we see from her "food" clip she has "a touch of the OCD" like me!  Debbie Gibson it up girl if you stick around!  safe - I think

Alex-anDREA - does Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now" - I like it - the Judges didn't... I think her outfit is yuk but my kids love it - shows you how hip I am!  safe - hopefully

Kady... Kady Kady Kady... she would be GREAT as an American Idol... correspondent... not safe

Asia'h - She's my girl, and Nigel Lythgoe agrees and gives her the money spot on Idol... but her voice fails her a bit... Simon says she chose to sing an " all time DIVA song" - Eric Carmen a DIVE, REALLY?  I guess he meant the Celine remake!  She's still safe!

So - going home from the girls side tonight - Amanda and Kady (possibly Alaina or Alex-anDREA - but I hope not!)

Results tonight!

Feb. 27, 2008

Last night the Top 10 guys sang songs from the 70's.  Paula's hair was great - not too high, not too low - as were her comments! Paula's hair is always the barometer for her state of mind.

Michael Johns kicked off the night with the Fleetwood Mac classic, "Go Your Own Way"... love him, love the song... didn't love the performance - safe

Jason Castro sang some BeeGees w/ his guitar - Blah... again - his face is so great, and then... that HAIR! Sup' with that? - safe

Luke Menard - He talked about Chapter 6 - so Bloomington had to be lovin that!  Did a lil' "Killer Queen" - and if you youtube it - check out that squat & shake at the end - what was THAT?  Not Safe

Robbie - Doo Rag Robbie - Chubby Brett Michaels - Hot Blooded... soounded like the best local band in town (not city) and a 'rocker" would never end a song on a power note like that IMO - Not Safe

Danny - Superstar by the Carpendars - love the song - kept waiting for him to belt it - but he never did... still - love his 'tude - safe

David Hernadez - "Papa was a Rolling Stone" - better than last week, but...hmmm... not safe

Jason Yeager - oh poor Jason Yeager... Long Train Running... home for him this week - again - what's with HIS ending move?  Some sort of Dry Heave inspired concoction... weird... Not Safe

Chekezie - Much Better!  I actually liked his outfit better (for him) last week!  I hated the jeans & shirt for him... hopefully his great performance last night is enough to save him... safe

David Cook - people love this guy, but I don't.  He's like the dude from your local favorite band who is getting old but still thinks he's cool.  And HELLO - he messed up the words to ALright Now!  I wish he was unsafe, but I think he'll be safe (darn)

David Archuleta - how long before someone brings to his attention his constant lip licking?  He's a lil' lizard this one!  I personally LOVED his arrangement of "Imagine" - it was different enough to not be a karaoke version, and not so differnt to seem 'out there" - I loved it... SAFE!

Tonight - Girls - 70's - Heart, Carly Simon, Olivia... and Kansas (which one of these is not like the others?) Can't wait!!!

---

From Feb. 22, 2008 show

Well - 3 outta 4 ain't bad!  I was correct in predicting Garrett (Mr. H - Horrible Hair), Amy Davis(who let you wear those WHITE tights with a black skirt and black boots?), and Joanna would go home this week.  I thought Luke would only because of his statement to Simon that people WOULD remember him -I thought that might be the kiss of death, but it wasn't so he stays.  Instead, Colton goes, I'm cool with that!  My faves are still "in it to win it!"

---

Julie Foehr's Notes - from Feb. 21, 2008 show

Last night the Top 12 girls performed, even though they were plauged by the flu!  Paula, although her hair was down and flat, seemed pretty darn normal last night!  My thoughts on the girls...

Kristy Lee Cook - sang "Rescue Me" - ok... probably safe

Joanna Borgella - seemed nervous, voice not great - NOT SAFE

Alaina Whitacre - look at that skin!  She's 16 and it's flawless!  Her eyebrows are driving me a little crazy, and she reminds me of Jamie Lynn Spears... but she's GREAT!  Safe!

Amanda Overmeyer - she's only 23, but seems MUCH older to me, and she was sporting the Winehouse poof - I think the band likes playing with her - she's fun and really brings it when it's time to perform - SAFE

Amy Davis - Not Safe, nuff said

Brooke White - I think she has a good recording voice - Safe (unless she's lost in the middle)

Alex-AnDREAah Lushington - Brought it last night!  Hair and Make up did a good job for her - and she made a good song choice!  Safe

Katie Malloy - She's the one that imitates my Brit Brit - I think last night her goal was to show her OWN voice and she did that - I hope she can stay this week because I think she has more to show - safe - I hope

Asia-h Epperson - when I saw this girl in the dance clip, I knew she was a "performer" - and she proved me right - she made that song her own! safe

Remielle - she's a lil' Pat Benetar this one!  Look for her to go along way - safe

Syesha - surprised me with her song "Tobacco Road" - good job!  She is so darn attractive!  SAFE

Carly Smithson - everyone talks about how great she is - I'm underwhelmed... what's with that "mid life letting herself go woman" outfit she had on? safe

Results tonight - my predictions - going home will be

Luke Menard
Amy Davis
Garrett Haley
Joanna Borgella

Julie Foehr's Notes - from Feb. 19, 2008 show

First off - we do the "Paula Check" - Bangs down = Paula is feeling no pain, and it should be a good night to keep an eye on her! Ah, the bangs never lie - Paula struggles for her words, tries to keep it together, puts her head on the table, and talks about the "colors"

Randy - is that a big enough watch or what?

Top 12 Guys - 60's Night...

David Hernandez - hate his shirt - "Wait til the Midnight Hour" - feet stuck to the ground... zzzzzz - not safe

Chikezie - pulls off the Orange Suit - can you imagine anyone else in that thing?  Good enough to get through with his slowed down version of "I love you more today than yesterday" - safe

David Cook - Good Gawd son!  Stop processing the HAIR!  His hair is soooo thin!  He looks like an old man!  Sings "Happy Together" - ok - not safe

Jason Yeager - Moon River (all I can think about when I hear this song is Chevy Chase in Fletch) I liked his outfit - safe

Doo Rag Robbie - GREAT song choice "One" - Three Dog Night - says he's a "rocker" but he's more CHER than Gregg Allman to me - safe

David Archuleta - love him - sings "You Better Shop Around" - Captain and Tenille?  He's the "oh my gosh, I can't believe you like me even though I WON Star Search" Melinda Doolittle of this year - licks his lips alot, sup' wit dat? - safe

Danny N - sings Jailhouse Rock - hate Elvis, hate him - but like the performance - he's growing on me because he's entertaining! safe

Luke Menard - cute guy - forget the song... he utters famous last words "I think America WILL remember this/me, Simon" kiss of death - NOT SAFE!

Colton Berry - get this kid some mascara on those blond eyelashes please! He said he looks like Ellen Degeneris- I think it's more of a caricature of her - sings a good Elvis song - safe for this week

Garrett Haley - Mr. H - Horrible Hair - looks like Rod Stewart circa the FACES years - hate the "mini-stache" he's sporting - NOT SAFE

Jason Castro - amazing face - sings "What a Day for a Daydream" with his guitar - safe

Michael Johns - heart him!  So INXS - sings "Light My Fire" - swoon - SAFE!
